wailing at the wall

through the distant window door
outside the rain is falling
places where we went before
the heart is prone to lying
kindness doesn’t fit your view
where the green trees grow and flourish
besides there’s no one here to answer
it’s only one man’s voice, that’s crying
when everything went wrong
they say you seek the true master?

fondness fades away
into the dark streams
where there’s no laughter
shadows flash their glare of light
as strangers are walking faster
we are no where, in this land
wisdom bath’s it’s angry whisper
those voice’s of  pure repetition
where we have gone here after

and i will seek your face
beside the still calming waters
there’s a living tree, at stake
this wager, that will never vanish
in a cryptic fog, along the way i fall
still not overcome, but wailing at the wall

blind men walk down crowded halls
and ring the bells, for the long journey
travelers in their morning cloths
walk on paths of golden turn keys
drums are beaten into fine dust
and the children learn to say “please”
i’ll sleep until i learn to pray
to hold the royal coin, with no disease
with a thankful heart, and a right of entry
my eyes are windows, to grasp and believe

fondness fades away
into the dark streams
where there’s no laughter
shadows flash their glare of light
as strangers are walking faster
we are no where, in this land
wisdom bath’s it’s angry whisper
those voice’s of  pure repetition
where we have gone here after

and i will seek your face
beside the still calming waters
there’s a living tree, at stake
this wager, that will never vanish
in a cryptic fog, along the way i fall
still not overcome, but wailing at the wall
