smile at injustice

smile at the injustice
let the truth be made known
childhood broken and stolen
but the child inside
is new creation
for your living trust alone
stay forever
in the rock as you must
finding that hidden treasure
in the buried open seas
this journeys long awakening
with no fatal death of disease
make me a heartfelt present
out of dust and cracked leaves
kiss my dirty cheeks
as your heart now retreats
the long walk of paled justice
prevails in the burning midnight sun
never to be forgotten
by the chosen light filled one
life in many colors
like a coat of timeless sands
faintly words that are unspoken
as your love never demands
smile at injustice
and keep persistence
at the praying helm
sow good seeds of
loyal faithfulness
and reap a harvest
of enduring love
the sleeping guilty giant wanders
and he has made a big mistake
i now hold him harmless
because his road was a laughing fake
i walk in a stream of glory
and bow beneath
the wood and the drops of blood
never to return to that gray graveyard
but held in the fathers unending love
smile at the injustice
let the truth be made known
childhood broken and stolen
but the child inside
is new creation
for your living trust alone
