relentless fierce mercy

the constant throbbing persists
it runs its narrow path
down my neck
to the undercurrent
of the silence that beckons me
as the wheels of life
turn musically calm
through the side streets
of vacated tolerance
you speak to me
in a inaudible voice
that i have been your child
and you’re ever presence
singing over me and
you never fail to look past
my solemn empathy
and see my future clearly
where there is sparkling diamonds
of hopeful authentic expressions
and acceptance in the enfolding arms
beyond the warmed and pleasure senses
to conclude into a relentless
fierce perpetual mercy
that will embrace me
until my dying moments
and forever after
