recorded in eternity

the wounds are fresh, but they will heal
time has come, when we must feel
the night is gone, and the day is past
loves offering of surrender, will it last?
between the daylight, and the dawn
we were strangers, but what went wrong?
on the edge, when our stage was set
history has spoken; and we’re not there yet
from the ruins, of lost opportunities
healed from a deadly, terminal disease
life is here, and soon it catches us
we all want someone, who we can trust

it’s all recorded in eternity
are you with us, or is it, we just can’t see?
through the fog, and the concrete sidewalks
and those who struggle, from the ticking clocks

when your afraid, you don’t ask why?
you say a prayer, to reach the sky
go beyond the bubble, of your hyper space
don’t let your emotions, go to waste
take a chance, with the flying of the dove
beneath it all, it could be love?
risk the comfort, of your quite zone
don’t let you heart, pace the floor alone
what seems right, it could be wrong?
don’t believe it’s true, just because it’s a song
life and death, could be in your grasp?
make a promise, so it will last

it’s all recorded in eternity
are you with us, or is it we just cant see?
through the fog and the concrete sidewalks
and those who struggle, from the ticking clocks

it’s all recorded in eternity
are you with us, or is it we just cant see?
through the fog and the concrete sidewalks
and those who struggle, from the ticking clocks

i feel that the true and living God can be found in just about any place you look, it might seem like the creativity of man, in a building, or a story, a film, and lyric, or a song, or painting or article, but everything that we see, sometimes is there, and sometimes not? one thing i know, it makes me sense Gods presence when i write something that i really know nothing about, like love? Or misunderstanding. yes i may know how to spell the words and write them down, but in reality i’m a little bit lost in knowing just who i am? but i can relax because he knows me.
