Only You

This is my prayer to you

The one who was and always is

the artist who painted life

created love and allowed the strife

I worship you alone

Only for you, will I bow my knees

Not for any man's idealist views

I know, I still don't understand

But I will raise up and reach out my hand

I worship you alone

You are the one who created the wave

& allowed it to crash with a thunderous sound

You are the one who fashioned the clouds

& allowed them to pour on us all around

I worship you alone

You are the one who designed the seed

& allowed it to be fertilized and grow beautifully 

You are the one who saw our fallen race

and redeemed us with all of your grace

I worship you alone
