Glory

by: Newbie

Rating: Not yet rated

They say that You
   Make everything glorious
But I feel my glory's been
   Stripped away
Ripped apart and covered up
By all the world has done to me
I feel the glory there,
   In part
Hidden underneath the lies
  Given me by this world
The lies I chose
   Put on myself
Though I knew all along
They were never meant for me
If I come to you
   With my hands outstretched
With all these lies
  Held in my palm
Will you take them away
   Remove them completely
If I open up this broken heart
   I've surrounded in stone
Will you heal me
   Will you free me
Will you
  Restore my glory
