even exposure

by: Noel Utter

Rating: Not yet rated

deep cavernous space

aboard the dimming lights

going backwards in the

momentous divine moment

i pronounce no affliction

with the cultish class

the glassed eyes, glazed over <

that repetition of slanderous death slogans

carved golden on plastic pedestals

they rise above the peoples heart

no human void of contortions

lives without the stilled pity

toward a loving stranger

and choose to use them for

what they can give out

and throw them away

like corrosive garbage

they are dark vacant clouds

floating in a sea of deceit

walking through a maze

of emotional steeping stones

across the vast wasteland

of insincere apologies

like boomerangs

returning to the fold

of depressions grasp

escalating a rapid oxygen loss

around my muted insolent neck

of mass consolidation

in your fused thespian

distractions
